If you are a traditionalist, this is the service for you. We use the building blocks of the early Christian Church in a traditional format. Hymns are played on the piano. The weekly appointed Old Testament, New Testament and Gospel readings are read by lay persons. Confession of sins and absolution, confession of our Christian faith, corporate prayers and the Lord's Prayer and the celebration of the Lord's Supper, as well as the sermon make this a very special, celebration of our Christian faith. Pastor Gerry and a Deacon officiate at this service.
Sunday @ 10:00a.m. / A Contemporary Worship Service
If you are too through with traditional worship and you're looking for an uplifting contemporary way to praise the Lord, this is your service. The Praise Band under the leadership of Andrea Wiltzius at the piano, along with drums, bass and sax lead us in contemporary songs. The building blocks of the early Christian Church are spoken in contemporary language. The congregation greets one another with hugs, and prayers are spoken in small groups.
Clothing in all services is relaxed. No one will judge you if you come in jeans, shorts or flip flops.
